Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; document unusual activity and report concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol and incident reports.
