Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. is seeking an Armed Facility Guard to maintain a secure environment through access control, credential verification, and vigilant monitoring of entry points.

You will deter unauthorized access, conduct patrols, and respond to emergencies while delivering professional customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, US citizenship or permanent residency, and a background check with drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be United States citizen or legal permanent resident.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Minimum two years driving experience.
• One year or more experience in law enforcement, military police, or active-duty military is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong communication and ability to follow detailed orders.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to facilities and authorized areas.
• Verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Monitor entry/exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Manage visitor access following facility procedures.
• Maintain visible security presence to deter incidents.
• Conduct patrols and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms per procedures.
• Complete logs and documentation accurately and timely.
