Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Transportation Officer - Armed to provide secure and safe transportation, guarding, and escorting of individuals between sites.

Responsibilities include armed transport, vehicle checks, and secure handling of passengers. The role requires driving experience, US citizenship, and licensing compliance, with a focus on following laws and ensuring safety in all operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet and maintain licensing requirements (driver's license or certification).
• Must be a citizen of the United States.
• Background check completion as applicable by law.
• Drug screen as applicable by law.
• Minimum of two years of driving experience.
• Experience as a Law Enforcement Officer, Military Police Officer, active-duty military, or security officer with detainee handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles for daily operation; perform pre- and post-trip inspections; file reports for damage or defects.
• Conduct pat-down searches; ensure proper security and documentation when transporting individuals.
• Safely operate vehicles and follow all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
