Job summary

Allied Universal, based in North America, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Driving Role Patrol in Renton, WA to safeguard clients across multiple industries. The role emphasizes customer service, visible patrols, and secure operations, with a shift-driven schedule designed to fit flexible hours.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, patrolling, controlling access, and maintaining duty gear while complying with laws and client policies.

Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Have customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, perimeter areas, parking areas, and restricted locations; report unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into controlled areas per site procedures.
• Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with policy and legal requirements.
