Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Seattle, WA. You will monitor retail properties, perform patrols, and provide excellent customer service while following company policy and safety procedures.

This role emphasizes driving duties, shift flexibility, and professional communication with management and law enforcement as needed. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, with background and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Background histories will be considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by following security procedures and responding to emergencies when needed.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols in the retail property and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate with site management and leadership.
