Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Part Time Driver Patrol in Spanaway, WA. The role involves unarmed security patrols, customer service, and adherence to site policies while driving between assigned areas.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be 18+ for unarmed roles. Pay is $21.85 per hour with a flexible Day/Night schedule to accommodate shifts; training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the job state.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
