Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed Driver Patrol Credentialing) in Renton, WA to protect clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will provide courteous customer service, conduct armed patrols, and maintain a visible security presence while on duty.

Pay rate is $29.73 per hour with daytime Saturday and Sunday shifts. Applicants must hold a concealed carry permit, have 1+ year armed security or related experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to lift

Qualifications

• Must possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Minimum 1 year armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver's license as per Allied Universal policy.
• Preferred: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Preferred: Access control and/or badge experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driving positions require a valid driver's license only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities at an aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports and other documentation accurately and timely.
