Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Armed Driver Customer Service Security Officer in Renton, WA. You will provide customer service while conducting armed patrols at aerospace/defense locations, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns.

The role offers flexible day schedules and the chance to grow with a leading security services company. A concealed carry permit, armed security experience, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, inspections, and security-related observations.
