Job summary

Concentric is seeking an experienced Security Driver/Residential Security Team Agent (Armed) for on-site placement in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes residential security, access control, routine patrols, and secure driving operations for the Principal and guests.

Candidates should have 5+ years in security, a clean driving record, and the ability to carry firearms in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. The position follows a 12-hour shift pattern with rotating day/night schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of equivalent or relevant industry experience.
• Ability to obtain a firearm permit and carry in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
• Currently possess and/or ability to obtain DC SPO certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Operational experience driving high-profile executives or high-net-worth passengers.
• Current Driver’s License with a flawless driving record.
• May be required to obtain a guard card.
• Thorough understanding of local and federal laws related to personal driver services.
• Well-versed in driving in the Greater Washington DC area.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure residential environment through access control and monitoring.
• Conduct routine property checks and exterior patrols to verify site security.
• Manage visitor and vendor access with proper vetting and documentation.
• Safeguard the Principal and guests from safety risks at the residence.
• Coordinate with internal teams and household staff for seamless operations.
• Provide safe, discreet transportation when required.
• Plan routes and perform advance work for transfers and events.
• Operate vehicles safely while ensuring passenger comfort and security.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance readiness.
• Identify and respond to threats or emergencies and escalate as needed.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders.
