HT Protective Services LLC is seeking an dependable Unarmed Security Officer in Washington, D.C. for an upscale apartment and retail community.

This roving role offers full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) with multiple shifts, including 10 am–10 pm, 4 pm–12 am, and 12:00 PM–10:00 PM. Weekend availability is mandatory; candidates must hold a valid DC Security Officer License and be able to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid DC Security Officer License.
• Reliable transportation and a working cell phone.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems.
• Deter loitering, panhandling, and unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to suspicious activity and incidents.
• Enforce property rules and community policies.
• Write detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Rove between assigned areas including amenity spaces, garages, and common areas.

Unarmed Security Officer (Washington, D.C.) – Full-Time and part-time shifts available, Must Work Weekends

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer for an upscale apartment and retail community in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time roving position (approximately 40 hours per week). Multiple shifts are available, including 10 am - 10 pm, 4 pm - 12 am, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Weekend availability is mandatory.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid DC Security Officer License
• Must have reliable transportation and a working cell phone
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including in varied weather conditions
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Patrol the premises and maintain a visible security presence
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems
