Job summary

Planned Companies is hiring Private Security Guards for residential and commercial properties in Washington, D.C. You will perform routine patrols, monitor CCTV, verify access, and respond to alarms while maintaining a visible security presence.

Candidates must have a valid DC security license, 2+ years experience, a high school diploma, and a clean driver’s license. This is a full-time, on-site role with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule and a pay rate of $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid DC security license.
• Minimum 2+ years of security officer/guard experience.
• Familiarity with local/state security regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Routine security and safety patrols of property and structures.
• Verify and track access credentials for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Ensure all exits, doors, and windows are secure and functional.
• Monitor CCTV to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to alarms and incidents and provide security support to residents and guests.
• Report suspicious activity and incidents to authorities.
• Submit daily surveillance and incident reports to management.
