Concentric Advisors, Inc. is seeking a Security Driver/Residential Security Team Agent (Armed) based in Washington, DC to protect a high-profile residence and support secure transportation for the Principal and guests.

This role requires 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 off) with rotating day/night schedules and compliance with firearm permits and SPO requirements. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of security or protective services experience, DC/SPO credentials, and a track record in executive

• 5+ years of equivalent or relevant industry experience.
• Ability to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm in DC, MD, and VA.
• Currently possess and/or ability to obtain a DC Special Police Officer certification.
• First Aid/CPR training.
• Operational experience driving high-profile executives or high-net-worth passengers.
• Current Driver’s License with a clean record.
• May be required to obtain a guard card.
• Knowledge of local and federal laws related to personal driver services.
• Experience in residential security or executive protection contexts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in high-touch customer service environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure residential environment through access control and monitoring.
• Conduct routine property checks and exterior patrols.
• Manage visitor and vendor access with proper vetting and documentation.
• Protect the Principal, family, and guests from security risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and household staff for daily operations.
• Provide secure driving support when needed for Principal and guests.

We are currently looking to hire a Security Driver/Residential Security Team Agent to join our team embedded with our client in Washington, DC! This position requires working onsite with our client in Washington, DC.

*This role follows a 12-hour shift schedule, consisting of four consecutive workdays followed by four days off. Shifts rotate between Day-Shift and Night-Shift schedules approximately every three months.

**This is an armed position. Candidates must currently possess a valid concealed carry permit and be legally able to carry a firearm in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Security Driver / Residential Security Team (RST) Agent (Armed) is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the client’s residence and supporting secure transportation operations as needed throughout the Greater Washington, D.C. area. This role focuses primarily on residential security functions, including access control, site monitoring, and regular mobile and foot patrols of assigned residential areas and nearby properties. Provide professional, discreet driving support when required. The position demands strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to operate seamlessly between static and mobile security environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a secure residential environment through access control, monitoring, and continuous situational awareness
• Conduct routine property checks and light exterior patrols to verify site security and identify irregularities
• Manage and coordinate all visitor and vendor access, ensuring proper vetting and documentation
• Safeguard the Principal, family members, and guests from safety and security risks within the residence and immediate surroundings
• Coordinate with internal teams, security personnel, and household staff to ensure seamless daily operations
• Support secure driving operations as needed, providing safe, discreet, and timely transportation for the Principal and guests
• Conduct advance work and route planning, including primary and alternate routes
• Operate vehicles in a safe, smooth, and professional manner while maintaining passenger comfort and security
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and maintenance compliance
• Identify, assess, and respond to potential threats, incidents, or emergencies, escalating as appropriate
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders
• Assist with emergency response, including medical incidents or unforeseen disruptions
• Follow established procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of RST and driving operations
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of equivalent or relevant industry experience
• Ability to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
• Currently possess and/or ability to obtain a Washington, D.C. Special Police Officer (SPO) certification
• First Aid/CPR
• Operational experience driving high-profile executives or high-net-worth passengers
• Current Driver’s License with a flawless driving record
• May be required to obtain a guard card
• Thorough understanding of local and federal laws and regulations related to personal driver services
• Well-versed in driving in and around the Greater Washington D.C. Area
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Operational experience with residential security teams, executive protection details, and/or high-profile corporate security teams
• Emotional intelligence and a customer-focused approach
• A successful track record operating within a high-touch, customer service environment
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
• Ability to remain calm under stressful driving conditions
• High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort working with senior leadership
• Demonstrated computer skills, including Google Suite and MS Office applications
• Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience providing executive driving service for individuals with mobility issues
• Defensive Driving and/or EVOC certifications
• Advanced medical training (EMT, WEMT, WFR, TCCC/TECC)
• Executive Protection and/or Tactical training preferred
• Working knowledge and comfort with communication apps (i.e., Signal, WhatsApp).
