Job summary

Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol. This role combines customer service with protective security, driving and patrolling at a financial institution location.

You will perform armed patrols, verify access, log activities, and respond to incidents with professionalism. A valid armed guard card/license, driver's license, and 3+ years of relevant experience or a college degree are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience OR a college degree.
Armed guard card or license required.
Valid driver’s license per AU policy.
Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screen required by law.
Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution.
Conduct regular armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter incidents.
Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with responders as needed.
Maintain accurate logs and reports following post procedures.
