Allied Universal’s Armed Security Officer role in Houston, TX offers part-time hours at a pay rate of $18.84 per hour. The officer will provide a professional front-desk presence, monitor access, verify visitors, and respond to incidents in a government location, ensuring a secure environment.

This position requires 21+ years of age, armed guard card, a college degree or significant security experience, and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift on Mon and Tue.

Qualifications

• 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• 1+ years armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• 1+ years law enforcement experience, 2+ years security supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years security experience.
• Armed Guard Card/License.
• College degree.
• 5+ years security-related experience.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• HS Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government front desk.
• Monitor access, greet and direct visitors, verify ID and appointment info, maintain logs.
