Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Houston, TX. This role offers flexible day and weekend shifts with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour.

You will patrol facilities, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of required background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: valid driver’s license in the state of the job
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws
• Criminal history considered in line with laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may apply
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility areas and perimeter
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document actions
• Observe facility operations and report maintenance concerns or policy violations
