Job summary

Walden Security is actively recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to protect courthouses under the USMS contract. A sign‑on bonus of $2,000 is paid after 90 days on contract.

CSOs will enforce federal law, perform entrances, roving patrols, stationary posts, and escorted movements of judges and staff. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, three years of verifiable law enforcement (or equivalent military) experience within the last seven years, English proficiency, a valid

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED and law enforcement training completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and screening for weapons, contraband and prohibited items.
• Roaming patrol of courts and facility grounds.
• Stand guard at stationary posts including courtrooms and judge chambers.
• Provide armed escort for judges and court personnel when directed.
• Direct traffic and control parking and pedestrian flow on facility properties.
• Enforce federal law and protect government property and people.
• Prepare reports on incidents, security issues and hours worked.
• Ensure court security and protection during proceedings.
