Job summary

Hornets Basketball Brand seeks a part-time Merchandise Associate to support the Greensboro Swarm store during home games for the 2025-26 season. You will greet fans, assist with merchandise, and help run promotions in a fast-paced arena environment.

The role requires 1-2 years in retail, strong customer service, and weekend availability, including game nights. Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in retail environment.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Experience in an arena environment or a professional/collegiate sports atmosphere.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
• Engages with fans and helps in the execution of promotions.
• Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
• Advises customers by providing information on products.
• Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
• Checks inventory on regular bases to maintain a fully stocked store front and trailer.
• Has the ability to meet Sales Goals.
• Processes sales, exchanges, and returns on POS system.
