Job summary

Charlotte Hornets is seeking a part-time Stats Crew member to support the Greensboro Swarm during the 2026-2027 NBA G League season. Duties include inputting statistics, calling plays, and backing up the official scorebook for all home games and related events.

Candidates must complete mandatory NBA Global Statistical System training and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Training and credentialing support will be provided by the organization.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of NBA and NBA G League rules and regulations preferred, collegiate experience helpful
• Familiarity with roles of in-game statistic inputting, calling and official scorer
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail
• Adjust and adapt quickly in high stress situations
• Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Ability to take direction and constructive feedback
• Flexible hours and availability to work all home games
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time

• Game night duties may include inputting (primary, secondary, tertiary), calling, back up and managing official scorebook
• Distribute statistics during games to teams, press and courtside seats
• Support role for members of the press, including credentialing and media room management
• Other duties, as assigned by the Greensboro Swarm Communications department.

Job description

This is a part-time position that will begin in October and run through the 2026-2027 NBA G League season. Stats Crew members are required to work all 24 Greensboro Swarm home games as well as other team functions that may occur during the season (preseason exhibition, postseason, etc.). Duties at games may vary and rotate based on staffing, with responsibilities ranging from inputting, calling, backup or official scorer. The NBA G League utilizes the NBA Global Statistical System, which includes mandatory training prior to the season.
