Job summary

City of Hastings Arena is seeking an Arena Guest Services Attendant to assist with arena operations, including snow removal, on-ice duties, and ticket sales. The role involves on-ice presence for open skate, skate sharpening when needed, and moving nets during events, ensuring a clean, safe environment for players and spectators.

The attendant will handle cash/card payments, operate the POS, and provide excellent customer service to patrons and participants.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older (15-year-olds may be considered).
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with snow removal to keep walkways and entrances clear.
• Operate a point-of-sale system to sell tickets and process cash or card payments.
• Support open skate sessions by being on the ice when needed.
• Sharpen skates for visitors as required by age policy.
• Move goalie nets during games and tournaments as directed.
• Provide customer service to players and patrons.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the Arena.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support events and operations.

• Provide customer service to players and patrons.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Arena.
• Other duties as assigned.
