Job summary

City of Hastings is seeking a part-time concessions worker to operate the POS system, handle cash and card sales, and provide friendly service at arena events. You will prepare and serve food and beverages, operate concession equipment, and maintain a clean, stocked area.

This seasonal role supports game nights and other events with flexible hours. Minimum requirements include good English communication, ability to work evenings and weekends, and at least 16 years old.

Job description

The Arena Guest Services - Concessions position is responsible for operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash and card transactions, and providing friendly customer service. Prepare and serve food and beverages safely, operate concession equipment, and keep the area clean and stocked. Perform other duties as needed to support arena events.

This is a part-time, seasonal poisiton.

Examples of duties include:

• Operating a point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to health and safety standards.
• Operate cooking and warming equipment.
• Provide customer service to players and patrons.
• Cleaning and restocking of the concession area.
• Other duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred age: 16 or older; 15-year-olds will be considered.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
