Job summary

Phoenix Suns is seeking a part-time Guest Services Representative at Mortgage Matchup Center in downtown Phoenix to deliver a world-class guest experience, ensuring the welfare and safety of all guests during events. You will greet guests, respond to questions, and support operations to create memorable experiences for fans.

The role emphasizes customer service, knowledge of arena events, and the ability to handle emergencies while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of arena operations, event procedures, and emergency activity.
• Ability to project a friendly, professional attitude and present a neat appearance.
• Clear communication with diverse populations, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and scan tickets and ensure authenticity.
• Capable of reacting calmly in emergencies and high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver upon the organization’s Values and Principles.
• Smile and provide a warm welcome and facilitate guest-related matters with courtesy.
• Provide a personal venue experience that exceeds guests’ expectations while maintaining safety.
• Serve as an information specialist and be knowledgeable about the arena and events.
• Inspect work areas, recognize hazards, and respond to medical or emergency situations.
• Verify credentials and scan tickets or redirect guests as needed.
• Notify supervisor or security of facility issues and housekeeping needs.
• Enforce policies during events to ensure safety and security.
• Operate and monitor escalators and elevators for guest safety.
• Write clear and concise incident reports.
• Monitor, patrol and respond to alarms and emergencies inside/outside the Arena.
• Operate radio equipment, tablets and handheld ticketing devices.
