Job summary

The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) seeks a Director (Senior Manager), Facility Maintenance to lead Spectrum Center's Maintenance & Facilities Department. You will oversee the $3.1 million Facilities budget and collaborate with the Charlotte Hornets to ensure flawless operation for all events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods, procedures, and policies for arena operations and facilities maintenance.
• Experience with budgeting, safety regulations, and project management.
• Strong communication and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Spectrum Center is fully operational for events and properly staffed.
• Coordinate with HSE on large events and manage risk during activities.
• Ensure facility compliance with technical specs per NBA standards.
• Develop and enforce department policies aligned with CRVA goals.
• Develop CAPEX requests and coordinate city capital improvements.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and life-cycle analyses.
• Oversee budget invoices and vendor contracts for facility work.
• Provide direction to staff and ensure strong building coverage.
• Act as Manager on Duty during events and champion guest service.
