Job summary

Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Manager of Facility Maintenance for Bojangles Entertainment Complex. The role directs maintenance operations across Bojangles Coliseum, Ovens Auditorium and The Link, ensuring readiness for events and safe, reliable facilities.

The position requires leadership, budget oversight, and hands-on expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with 2–3 years in a leadership role and/or training, or equivalent.
• College/University diploma in a technical field, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years maintenance experience including HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Facility Maintenance team and oversee maintenance and event activities.
• Manage work orders, safety, quality control, and training of technicians.
• Coordinate with Senior Manager on budget planning for capital projects and maintenance.
• Ensure life safety systems are 100% operational during events.
• Prepare monthly status reports of special projects for CRVA.
