Job summary

Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA seeks an Event Manager to plan, coordinate and execute arena events, serving as the primary liaison between clients, promoters, internal teams, vendors, and security.

You will lead advance planning, develop setup documents, floor plans, and event estimates; manage contracts, permits, and insurance; and coordinate with Box Office, Catering, and Operations to ensure flawless show execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sports admin, facility management or related field.
• Minimum of two years in event management or arena operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint; AutoCAD preferred.
• Experience with event management software (TMSS or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead event advance planning and on-site execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Prepare event estimates, contracts, and floor plans.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and high service standards.
• Manage deadlines, permits, and insurance documents.
• Support box office configurations and ticketing manifests.
