Job summary

Golden 1 Center in Sacramento seeks enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Associates (part-time) to support team stores, games, concerts, and events. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences, process sales, stock and merchandise displays, and assist with jersey customization.

Reports to the Director, Retail Operations, in the Merchandise department. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced retail/event setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience preferred; sports/apparel retail a plus.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS system.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Dependable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge or enthusiasm for the Sacramento Kings, the NBA, sports, and live events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to guests.
• Process cash and credit transactions using the POS system.
• Receive, organize, restock, and maintain merchandise.
• Assist with visual merchandising and ensure displays are current and stocked.
• Prepare merchandise stands before games, concerts, and events.
• Complete post-event merchandise counts and inventory for return or storage.
• Assist with unloading and receiving shipments.
• Operate the heat press and customize jerseys per guest requests.
