Job summary

Bridgestone Arena is seeking a part-time Event Public Safety Officer to help secure the venue and enforce access during events. You will patrol, monitor cameras, respond to incidents, and help maintain order before, during and after events.

Min requirements include 18+ years, HS diploma, strong customer service, ability to stand/walk long hours, basic computer skills, valid driver’s license, and background check. TN unarmed security license or ability to obtain is needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a desire to serve the company and public.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to speak and communicate clearly with others. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and write clearly and legibly to draft clear incident reports.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Previous security experience is a plus.
• Applicants must pass a background check.
• Must have or be able to obtain TN Private Protective Services Unarmed Security Guard license.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service.
• Perform security duties, including patrolling arena premises and monitoring cameras, and documenting incidents.
• Respond to calls and incidents at the facility.
• Verbal communication with staff and the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Public Safety Management.
