Job summary

Bridgestone Arena is seeking a Public Safety Supervisor to oversee event staff, audit incident reports, and maintain order during arena events. The role requires strong judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to respond to emergencies with poise and professionalism.

Responsibilities include supervising dispatch-like duties on gamedays and non-gamedays, coordinating security staff, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• TN Private Protective Services Unarmed Security Guard license required or must be able to obtain.
• Extensive background investigation including criminal history check and references will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate event staff during arena events, including scheduling, training, counseling, and enforcing procedures and service standards.
• Review and audit all written incident reports during events.
• Patrol premises and maintain order among visitors, patrons, and employees.
• Observe and document officer performance and assist with personnel evaluations.
• Ensure equipment is set up and operating properly.
• Screen individuals for prohibited articles using detectors and manage access control.
