Job summary

Oak View Group's CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore seeks a part-time Changeover Crew member to support event-to-event conversions, setup and teardown of flooring, chairs, barricades, and related equipment, and general facility duties. The role requires physical labor and will involve lifting, moving, and coordinating with promoters and clients.

The position reports to the Operations Manager, with duties including cleaning, grounds maintenance, and operating light power equipment after training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with event changeovers is a plus.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power equipment desired.
• Ability to work under deadlines dictated by event schedules and project timetables.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events.
• Setting up and tearing down flooring, chairs, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment.
• Responding to promoters/clients' needs as directed.
• Perform various duties to ensure day-to-day operations of the facility are met, including loading/unloading trucks and replenishing supplies.
• Assist with pre/post event cleaning and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain outside grounds and handle snow removal during winter.
