Job summary

Oak View Group’s Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert is seeking a part-time Changeover Crew to assist in the setup and teardown of hockey, family shows, and concerts. You will prepare the arena according to event plans and lead safety-focused changeovers.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work long hours and nights, and a willingness to operate light equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Prior conversion experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED is required; forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of conversion experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively.
• Certified forklift operator preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for event conversions.
• Ability to work long hours and varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove stage, risers, seating, tables, and flooring for events.
• Repair and maintain retractable and permanent seats.
• Lead lockout/tagout procedures and follow safety precautions.
• Promote a safe and efficient work environment.
• Be available for event support and assist other departments as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, exhibitors, and guests.
