Job summary

Oak View Group in Enid, OK is seeking a Changeover Crew member to handle room setups and arena conversions between events. This part-time role supports venue maintenance and setup tasks, including painting, trash disposal, and grounds upkeep.

The position pays $12.00 per hour and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior changeover experience is a plus; training for equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with event changeovers is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule.
• Must work safely and effectively.
• Capable of meeting deadlines under event-driven timelines.
• Demonstrates initiative and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate clearly.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or similar light power equipment; training and certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for equipment and property by storing, cleaning, and maintaining changeover equipment.
• Respond to setup issues promptly as directed.
• Participate in all aspects of the event conversion process.
• Set up and tear down flooring, chairs, barricades, staging, tables, and furnishings.
• Assist promoters'/clients' needs as directed.
• Work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Support day-to-day operations including loading/unloading, trash disposal, and supplies.
• Assist with pre/post event cleaning (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, etc.).
• Maintain exterior grounds including parking areas, the garage, entrances, and event plaza.
• Perform repairs and maintenance like painting and patching.
• Follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively.
• Maintain good relationships with other departments, clients, and patrons.
• Work under pressure and tight schedules to produce accurate results.
• Other duties as assigned.
