Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks an Area Vice President to lead a geographic area, drive advisor growth, and implement Thrivent’s strategy for capacity and sales expansion. You will manage 5-10 field leaders and 50-100 Financial Advisors serving thousands of clients, collaborating with COEs, and ensuring alignment with Thrivent’s purpose and values.

Qualifications

• College degree or MBA; advanced education preferred.
• Demonstrated 5+ years leading in financial services.
• Proven track record delivering capacity and sales growth.
• Strategic leadership with strong influencing abilities.
• Experience attracting, selecting, and developing financial advisors.
• Securities and insurance knowledge; FINRA licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisor growth and capacity expansion across key areas.
• Attract and develop field leaders and financial advisors.
• Drive total sales in the geographic area with accountable KPIs.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and matrix partners to share best practices.
• Travel as needed to cover assigned markets and Thrivent functions.
