Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned sales leader to build and manage a regional sales team in the United States. You will drive revenue growth, forecast streams, and develop go-to-market plans, collaborating with Marketing, R&D, and other stakeholders to commercialize new products.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven track record of leading sales managers in the medical device or disposable device markets
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success leading and managing sales managers
  • Strong sales, recruiting, leadership, organization, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Multiple years of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience bringing innovative, market-defining products to market
  • Good interpersonal skills to align and foster positive working relationships across the organization
  • Ability to develop and critically analyze a sales pipeline and forecast
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel over 50% if needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to sit continuously for prolonged periods, more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day
  • May be required to lift objects up to 25 lbs or more

Responsibilities

  • Build, oversee, and help drive a team of regional sales directors and representatives
  • Maximize sales revenues, attain corporate objectives, and exceed sales goals
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams
  • Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies
  • Develop specific revenue plans to ensure growth across targeted products and services
  • Coach, advise, support, motivate, and provide information to help individuals exceed sales objectives
  • Train and coach regional sales directors to enable representatives to structure deals exceeding revenue expectations
  • Serve as escalation point for issues beyond team authority and resolve team conflicts
  • Perform sales activities for an assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed revenue objectives
  • Develop and test new sales strategies and tactics, replicating successful approaches
  • Keep the team current on new product and industry knowledge
  • Work with Marketing on go-to-market strategies and execute commercialization plans
  • Lead area sales leadership meetings and participate in sales management meetings and quarterly business reviews
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and other stakeholders to identify market needs and commercialize new products
  • Perform other duties as assigned
