Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a dedicated trainer to deliver person-centered training across service lines, collaborating with local leadership, clinical services, and quality teams. You will apply adult learning principles and leverage Relias, SharePoint, TEAMS, and Microsoft tools to maximize on-site training effectiveness.

The role emphasizes ISL training, onboarding Supervisors and DSPs, and supporting QA activities with a focus on HIPAA, rights, and infection control in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
• Experience: Three years of IDD experience in a similar role and advanced system technology experience (clinical and business systems).
• Travel/Flexibility: Approximately 25% travel with ability to travel across the market and be flexible with work hours.
• Certifications: Training or learning and development certifications or licensures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered training to staff, individuals, and community partners.
• Create related training materials and document training completion.
• Attend operations stand-ups and act as SME for Therap, Relias, SharePoint, TEAMS, and Microsoft products.
• Provide on-site and on-demand training to ISLs, Supervisors and DSP teams; support QA and POC for retraining.
