Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a clinical training specialist to plan, develop, and deliver orientation and ongoing staff training across campuses. You will teach CPR, de-escalation, and clinical practices using live demonstrations, simulations, and mentoring to build competency.

Travel between campuses is required. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, documentation in the LMS, and ongoing updates to training materials to support accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related clinical experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to lead training sessions.
• Willingness to travel between Sheppard Pratt campuses.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement orientation and clinical training programs.
• Deliver engaging instruction using classroom, simulations, and mentoring.
• Assess trainee competency and provide feedback to staff and supervision.
• Maintain training documentation in the LMS and update materials as needed.
