Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Area Supervisor to lead a Store’s assigned area, ensuring safe operations and a friendly customer experience. You will supervise Associates, manage opening/closing procedures, and support Store Leadership in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store; supervise Associates and support Store Leadership.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Maintain safe and secure shopping environment; monitor for safety and loss prevention.
• Assist with Front End operations: cash handling, checkout efficiency and customer service.
• Coordinate with Store Manager on daily tasks and store maintenance.
• Supervise merchandising, stockroom organization and back stock handling.
