Job summary

Ross Stores in Cartersville, GA is seeking an Area Supervisor to join Store Leadership. You will oversee a specific area and assist as Manager on Duty, opening/closing, supervising associates, ensuring merchandise presentation, and maintaining a safe, inviting shopping environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing company processes, front-end supervision, loss prevention, front-end operations, training, scheduling, and daily administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain safe, secure shopping environment and correct unsafe conditions.
• Ensure merchandise presentation is to Company standards and stockrooms are organized.
• Lead Front End operations, train cashiers, and manage registers and break schedules.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and safeguard cash, merchandise, and confidential data.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
