Job summary

MRO Corporation is seeking an Area Supervisor to coordinate ROI Specialists across client sites, ensuring compliance with policies and federal/state regulations. The role requires 50% travel and on-site work in Lincoln, NE and IA; when not traveling, the position is remote.

Responsibilities include managing workflow, covering peak periods, monitoring performance, and approving payroll. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, HIPAA knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's/Associates degree in Health Information Management, Business Admin or related field preferred.
• 1 year supervisory/management experience in acute care setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards required.
• Excellence in written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages workflow among on-site employees at multiple client sites to ensure maximum productivity and quality standards are met.
• Adjusts work assignments to cover peak periods, leave and vacancies at staffed hospital sites.
• Provides coverage in event of backlogs, illness, vacation or leave of absence of ROI Specialists.
• Performs Quality Assurance monitoring of work performance for ROI Specialists.
• Under Area Manager direction, conducts productivity and work performance reviews for ROI Specialists according to policies and laws.
• Monitors performance and provides feedback for ROI Specialists.
• Manages employee schedules and approves bi-weekly payroll, including PTO requests.
• Promotes a positive image of MRO and treats patients and staff with courtesy and respect.
• Provides support to the Area Manager as needed.
