Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specified store area and oversee operations when the store manager is on duty. You will supervise associates, ensure merchandise presentation, and maintain a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing store standards, loss prevention, front-end procedures, and daily administrative duties while supporting the store team and achieving performance goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervising associates and ensuring a friendly shopping environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment and enforce loss prevention practices.
• Represent and support the Ross brand through professional appearance and store standards.
• Manage merchandising, stockroom, and front-end operations to company guidelines.
• Coordinate payroll administration and other administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
