Job summary

Ross Stores in Georgia seeks an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee general operations when acting as Manager on Duty. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with proper merchandising and clean work areas.

You will also execute Company Best Practices, participate in loss prevention, Front End supervision, and administrative tasks while maintaining safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment in the store.
• Supervise Associates and manage operations as Manager on Duty.
• Open and close the store and ensure proper merchandising.
• Assist with Front End supervision, loss prevention, and administrative duties.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and procedures.
