Job summary

Ross Stores in Dallas seeks an Area Supervisor to lead a store area and manage daily operations as Manager on Duty. You will open/close, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment.

You will drive merchandising standards, front-end efficiency, loss prevention, and customer service, while training staff and enforcing company policies. Strong communication and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store, supervise Associates, and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean work area.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Support front-end operations, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Coach and develop Associates to uphold standards and customer service.
