Job summary

Ross-Dress-For-Less is seeking an Area Supervisor who reports to Store Leadership and oversees a specific area as well as store operations when acting as Manager on Duty. Open/close duties, supervise associates, and uphold a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will ensure merchandise presentation, maintain clean work areas, train staff on procedures, and support loss prevention while executing company best practices.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain safety and security, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents to Store Leadership.
• Provide Front End supervision and assist with cashier operations.
• Manage stockroom organization and support loss prevention.
