Job summary

Ross Dress For Less is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined area of the store, oversee daily operations, and supervise Associates during the Manager on Duty shifts to ensure a welcoming, easy-to-shop environment.

You will drive merchandising standards, front-end performance, safety and loss prevention, and deliver superior customer service while developing teams in a fast-paced off-price retail setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and cleanliness.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes and loss prevention.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and Front End procedures.
• Manage back stock, stockroom, and floor moves as needed.
