Ross Dress for Less is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a store area and support overall operations, ensuring a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. You will supervise Associates, manage opening/closing duties, and maintain merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes safety, loss prevention, customer service, and adherence to Company procedures. Experience in supervision and POS familiarity is preferred, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as needed.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes per policy.
• Ensure safety, loss prevention, and customer service standards on the sales floor.
• Provide leadership in front-end operations and cashier training when required.
• Assist in stockroom organization and back-stock control.
