Job summary

Ross Dress for Less is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined area of the store, support the Store Leadership team, and ensure smooth daily operations. The role includes opening/closing the store, supervising associates, and maintaining safety, merchandising, and a friendly shopping environment.

Responsibilities include meeting company standards for process execution, assisting with front-end operations, and upholding loss prevention practices while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned store area and operations as acting Manager on Duty.
• Open and close the store and supervise associates.
• Maintain safe, secure, clean, and well‑presented environment for customers.
• Ensure merchandising standards and timely stock replenishment are followed.
• Assist with cash handling, POS procedures, and loss prevention practices.
