Rosendin Electric, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Area Superintendent to oversee project supervision, personnel, budget and schedule. You will plan craft activities, coordinate with multiple trades, and ensure compliance with drawings and safety programs.

With 8+ years of supervisory experience, you will lead Foremen, liaise with engineering and project management, and drive field training. This role offers growth with a leading employee-owned contractor and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years’ supervisory experience in construction / facilities.
• Proficient with MS Office; Oracle experience preferred.
• Ability to lead large crews and coordinate across crafts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise General Foreman and Foreman on craft activities, determining construction methods, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and schedules.
• Coordinate work with other crafts, departments, or contractors to ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and PM to ensure drawings/specs align with work.
• Assist in resolving construction problems and productivity issues as required.
• Maintain communications with unions, resolve jurisdictional disputes, and requisition manpower as needed.
• Monitor safety program compliance and document corrective actions.
• Liaise with Material Control, Purchasing, QA/QC, Engineering to support craft activities and schedule.
• Lead field training programs and oversee QA/QC programs.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
