Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee a defined area, lead field crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure site safety and schedule. You will train staff, enforce standards, and report progress to the Project Manager.

This role requires strong communication, proven supervision in commercial electrical projects, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Travel up to 25% and a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in facilities, construction technology, methods, or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, field staff and project managers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with the Superintendent and subcontractors to coordinate standardization of processes and resolve mutual concerns.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager staff to establish new hiring processes and procedures for field personnel.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating material shipments to the job site.
• Oversee and ensure that all projects in the specific area are completed to forecast.
• Manage the safety program and ensure that all safety standards are met and maintained.
• Ensure that the field staff comply with pertinent government regulations and contract documents.
• Assist the Superintendent with field staffing to meet or exceed project timelines and budgets in conjunction with the Director of Production.
• Coordinate with the Tools/Equipment Manager regarding tools and inventory as required for projects.
• Manage the production and field staffing team for a specific area.
• Assist in directing, coordinating, and evaluating the field staff.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training field staff and support staff.
• Assist in developing training programs for field staffing that ensure company excellence.
• Conduct production and field staff meetings when required.
• Track payroll and production metrics.
