Responsibilities

  • Oversee job-site operations for the project, including coordination with subs, suppliers, and client representatives.
  • Maintain zero-accidents safety program and enforce craft worker safety on site.
  • Monitor staffing levels, performance against budget and schedule; manage resource planning.
  • Review design changes to ensure constructability and identify critical items affecting schedule.
  • Develop and implement turnover plans coordinating all craft disciplines and field processes.
  • Establish and track construction schedules, resource charts, material and equipment needs, and cost targets.

Project Overview:



the company is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. the company Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M&T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world.



Job Summary:



In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely #LI-CL1



Major Responsibilities:




  • Responsible for job-site operations, as assigned, including all onsite activities of the company, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives and others as may be assigned within the area of responsibility.

  • Overall responsibility for craft worker safety on the project in accordance with the company's established Zero Accidents safety program.

  • Assist in Manages staffing levels per the approved staffing plan.Monitor actual work performance against the project budget and schedule.

  • Ensures the quality of work performed meets requirements. Review the project design to identify potential changes that will improve the constructability of the work. Identify construction critical items that have the potential of impacting the work schedule.

  • Assist in developing and implement a plan for system and area turnovers that coordinates the activities of all craft disciplines.

  • Monitor quantity reporting process and progress.

  • Responsible for the area field organization to ensure the job-site organization is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures effective personnel utilization.

  • Monitor General Foreman/Foreman and Foreman/Worker ratios on the project.

  • Ensure that craftwork on the project is effectively using project automation tools.

  • Establishes, coordinates and implements construction schedules, resource charts, material and equipment requirements.

  • Sets and meets project cost and schedule targets.

  • Controls job-site expenditures, in assigned area, for labor, equipment, material and services and ensure field operations are within the budget

  • Monitor construction equipment utilization and maintenance.



Education and Experience Requirements:




  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 11-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.



Required Knowledge and Skills:




  • Advanced knowledge of EPC and EPCM construction programs, technologies, means and methods in the semiconductor industry is preferred. Advanced knowledge of supervisory functions relating to construction field activities. Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H) and commitment to a Zero Accident safety program. Extensive experience in the construction management of EPC projects.
