Ocean State Job Lot is hiring a Store Area Team Leader in Warwick, RI. You will guide store teams, ensure merchandising standards, and drive freight, inventory, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

You bring 4+ years of retail management, comfort with Google tools, and a collaborative leadership style to empower associates and exceed store goals. OSJL offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of previous retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets).
• Preferred experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Profitability: Support programs to maximize revenue and achieve store goals.
• Backroom Efficiency: Lead an efficient freight flow process and 24-hour turnaround.
• Inventory Management: Maintain optimal store inventory levels and proper merchandising.
• Merchandising and Freight Management: Lead placement of products and collaborate on merchandising strategies.
• Foster a Collaborative Team: Support recruitment, training, and development of associates.
• Championing a Positive Store Culture: Ensure standards for merchandising and cleanliness are met.
• Customer Service Champion: Maintain exceptional customer service and store presentation.
• Leveraging Technology: Support HCM processes and Oracle systems for store operations.
