Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Area Service Operations Enablement Leader to translate North America service strategy into local market action across one North America Area and to support HVAC service sales execution that drives profitable growth.

The role partners with Area and market leaders to improve service volume, recurring revenue, retention, and margin, using a consistent cadence and CRM-driven insights to guide execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or technical discipline or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in HVAC, building systems, or complex B2B sales.
• Proven ability to lead through influence without direct reports in a matrix org.
• Strong knowledge of service offerings, planned service agreements, and CRM-enabled sales management.
• Ability to communicate credibly with executives and field leaders.

Responsibilities

• Translate service growth strategy into market priorities and execution plans.
• Deliver the Area operating plan for service volume, revenue, margin and retention.
• Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly service sales cadence across the Area.
• Diagnose performance gaps and align corrective actions with Area leaders.
• Drive forecast accuracy and use data to remove obstacles and scale best practices.
• Build relationships with strategic customers and executive stakeholders.
• Coach and enable Market General Managers and frontline sales teams by influence.
