Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Area Service Sales Leader to translate North America service strategy into local market action and support HVAC service sales execution that drives profitable growth. You will partner with Area and market leaders to improve service volume, recurring revenue, retention, service attachment, and margin performance.

This is an influence-based leadership role without direct reports, focused on coaching leaders, aligning teams, and creating a clear operating cadence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in HVAC, building systems, technical services, or complex B2B sales with multi-market leadership.
• Proven track record in delivering service sales growth, recurring revenue, profitability, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.
• Ability to lead through influence, coach leaders, and drive accountability in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Translate North America and Area service growth strategy into clear market priorities and execution plans.
• Deliver the Area operating plan for service volume, revenue, margin, and retention.
• Lead and align market priorities with clear roles, standard work, and defined sales motions.
• Assess seller capacity and performance, and drive disciplined execution across the Area.
